Jill McCormick, PT, ATC, CKTP, ART-Certified: Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer
Jill is the owner and operator of Excel, and has been since its conception in August of 1999. Jill was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri and graduated with a Physical Therapy degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1995. She received an Athletic Training Certification in 1999 through an internship program at Columbia College, which she participated in while working as a full-time PT. Jill currently lives in Chicago, IL, managing the business end of things from her home office there, and relying on her excellent staff at Excel to keep things humming in Boonville! She makes trips back to Excel about every 4 weeks to keep in personal touch and she keeps her PT skills fresh as she works for another out-patient PT clinic in Chicago. E-mail Jill
Kelley Chandler, PT, CKTP, ART-Certified: Physical Therapist
Kelley joined Excel in 2002 and she is the on-site manager as well as a treating clinician. She was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri and graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree and a Master of Physical Therapy degree. Kelley specializes in spine work and is certified in the practice of Active Release Technique (ART), a highly specialized and effective manual therapy technique. Kurt Lackland, PT: Physical Therapist
Kurt is the newest member of the physical therapy team. He joined Excel in June 2009. Kurt was born and raised in Glasgow, Missouri. Kurt discovered his career path when he took an athletic training class at Columbia College, which focused on treating orthopedic injuries. He then enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physical Therapy degree. He worked for Boone Hospital as a rehab aide throughout his college career and he looks forward to staying on the cutting edge of physical therapy at Excel! E-mail Kurt
John Tate, PTA, CKTP: Physical Therapy Assistant
John has been with the Excel team since 2002. He graduated from Linn-State Tech with a Physical Therapy Assistant degree in 1999. John is from Fulton, Missouri originally; he moved to Columbia and attended high school there and he now lives in Rocheport with his big, big dog, Grace! John has been integral in running Excel’s Athletic Enhancement program, and he’s also worked as a Personal Trainer for several years. Andrea Hoehn, OTR/L, CKTP: Occupational Therapist
Andrea is the head of the Occupational/Hand Therapy Program at Excel. She was raised in St. Peters, Missouri and she graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia in 2004 with a Bachelor of Health Science degree and in 2005 with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. Hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation is her passion. She has worked in this specialty since her graduation in 2005. Andrea just got married in June 2007 and is now living with her husband, Mike, in Columbia, Missouri.

Lindsey Scheets, ATC: Certified Athletic Trainer
Lindsey joined Excel in June, 2009. She was raised in Salem, Missouri and graduated from William Woods University with a degree in Athletic Training with a minor in Exercise Science. She loves sports and working with the athletic population and is Excel’s liaison to all the local and surrounding high schools’ athletic teams. She also offers her personal training services at Excel Fitness Center and assists John in running Excel’s Athletic Enhancement Program. Cayley Schler, Office Coordinator
Cayley came to work at Excel first as a PT tech in May, 2008. She quickly learned the ins and outs of our daily operations and was promoted to Office Coordinator in December, 2008. Cayley graduated from BHS in 2007, then attended MU, and continues her education at MU online. Cayley was born and raised in Boonville.
