Excel is proud to provide athletic training services for area high schools such Boonville, New Franklin, Bunceton, Pilot Grove, Prarie Home, and Tipton. Our Certified Athletic Trainers are skilled and proficient in:
- Prevention of athletic injuries
- Recognition, evaluation, and immediate care of athletic injuries
- Rehabilitation and reconditioning of athletic injuries
- Health care administration
- Professional development and responsibility, including developing and maintaining relationships with coaches, primary care physicians, and orthopedic surgeons.

ANNUAL PRE-PARTICIPATION SPORTS SCREENINGS
Excel joins with local physicians and orthopaedic surgeons each year to host screenings that are mandatory for athletes before they’re allowed to participate in their school-sponsored sports. Dr. Bus Tarbox from Coumbia Orthopaedic Group and Dr. Robert Koch from Cooper County Memorial Hospital have been integral in the facilitation of this event since 2001.
